Directions: Trace your hand on a piece of paper.  Using one of the “must know people or commodities” from your study of AP World History thus far (time periods 1-4), write what he/she/it would be thankful for and include the date/timeframe.  Color and cut your work.  Due date November 22, 2017.

Example Statements:
“I’m thankful for firearms from the Portuguese that enabled me to be able  to centralize and consolidate my power over Japan.” –Tokugawa Ieyasu , 1580-1605

*Note: Make sure your thankful note is not culturally insensitive.-i.e. “I’m thankful for diseases like smallpox and measles that decimated the Native American population and made it easier to conquer.”  -Columbus, 1492
